WELCOME TO SALEM'S BLACK HAT SOCIETY

#SALEMSBHS

It all started in August 2016 as an outlet for Priscilla and Brian to showcase their infectious energy and love for Salem, MA and street performing. They welcome, entertain, enhance and engage the many tourists from all over the world and local residents of Salem and its surrounding towns. The first street performing together as a pair started in October, 2016. In a short period of time, #Salemsbhs has experienced overwhelming popularity and positive feedback from the local community, businesses, Salem city officials, residents and tourists from all around.  Priscilla and Brian have been encouraged to continue their efforts year round.

In doing so, they help promote Salem's rich history, thriving businesses and community.

As character witches, Xander and Borah roam the streets of Salem on their brooms, welcoming visitors with a "hello" in their native language. Xander and Borah also educate visitors about Salem's history, promote local venues and even guide them to local restaurants. You may catch them singing Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary and even state, national and international anthems and other songs to visitors and locals. Their goal is to make each and every visitor and even 4 legged pets feel welcomed & special.

Xander and Borah have fun with children, handing out fun trinket gifts. They embrace elementary and high school groups that come down the streets laughing, trying to be brave in front of their friends with a threat of a spell or two. They always find time to snap pictures with guests in their silly witch poses or break out into a crazy song and dance.

They've extended their street performing to business opening, weddings, parties and singing character telegrams. #Salemsbhs has frequent and unique giveaways, contests and drawings. #Salemsbhs also can be seen doing random and spontaneous live streaming through the Salem's Black Hat Society and Haunted Happenings Magazine FB pages.

Each year, #Salemsbhs donates a portion of its proceeds to local charities.

While neither Priscilla nor Brian are real witches that cast spells or perform rituals, they do hope their perpetually fun, positive, energy filled performances bring smiles, joy, happiness, good will AND a little magic to you all.

"Hop on, let's see where the broom takes us."
